Alias and its absurd plots

Lorrie and I have been watching “Alias” on dvd via blockbuster. The show is highly entertaining, fun, creative, great character development and lots of action. The plots, though, range from the absurd to ludicrous. We just started season 4 and here is a summary of the plot so far:

CIA Secret Agent woman (Sydney Bristow played by Jennifer Gardner-she looks just like my friend Leigh) discovered that her CIA Secret Agent Father (Jack Bristow-cold as ice) has assassinated her former KGB Secret Agent Mother (Irina Derevko) because her Secret Agent Mother (Irina) was going to kill her, the Secret Agent daughter (Sydney). Now, Secret Agent Sydney recently discovered that she had an Argentinian Secret Agent Half-Sister (Nadia Santos) who was conceived by her Secret Agent Mother and her dad’s Secret Agent best friend (Arvin Sloane). This Secret Agent half-sister found out that someone had killed their mom and vowed to hunt down the killer and kill them (who if she knew, was Sydney’s father). Luckily, Secret Agent Father (Jack) devised a plan to convince Half-sister that someone else killed her mother; once she found this person she put several bullets through them.

Convincing? It doesn’t matter, I can’t stop watching.
